The Splendour Of Vancouver

Vancouver, British Columbia on the west coast in the summer. The rainforest refuge of Stanley Park is located northwest of downtown.
Imagine a place, surrounded by ocean and mountains, where you can enjoy wilderness in the morning and the delights of a cosmopolitan city in the afternoon.

Vancouver is one of those cities, like Sydney or Rio, that just seems blessed by Nature…
…In summer, the sidewalk cafes are full and the harbor dotted with sails. Everyone, it seems, is out enjoying the sunshine – strolling, cycling or jogging around Stanley Park; relaxing at the beach or by an outdoor pool; playing golf or tennis; or exploring the wilderness on foot or horseback, by sea-kayak or canoe.

In the spring, the city is famous for its cherry blossoms. And in winter, you can ski, snowboard, or dogsled during the day and enjoy the theatre, opera or a symphony in the evening – or even experience ‘real’ Canadian culture … at a professional ice-hockey game!

Vancouver is both a destination in itself and a great stepping-off point for journeys east to the Rockies and beyond, or west to the Pacific coast of Vancouver Island.

Vancouver is a beautiful city set in a beautiful geographic venue, and blessed with very friendly people.
