A Natural History Voyage

The tall ship Caledonia at Rimouski on the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec
Alaska is famous as a cruise-ship destination - and we would love to take you there in your own style – and on this page we also introduce you to equally spectacular cruises on the west, east and even northern coasts of Canada.

We offer a range of ships – from the large and beautiful Holland America ships going to Alaska, to smaller cruise ships that offer a more intimate style, to sailing yachts and even tall ships that can get you into places and close to wildlife in ways that big ships never can…
One of our most popular experiences is a combination of a rail trip to the Canadian Rockies followed by a cruise up the Inside Passage to Alaska – and you can do this on either a large cruise ship or a small one – the choice is yours.

And there are other wonderful places to see on the west coast too. For example, you can join a sailing yacht that will get you into the fjords of the Great Bear Rainforest in search of the rare white Kermode Bear, or take a yacht to see the fascinating culture and majesty of Haida Gwaii – the Queen Charlotte Islands.

On the east coast we offer summer cruises meandering along the coasts of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland – showcasing a fascinating mix of Arcadian, Scottish and Irish cultures and a rich marine life.

Then for those drawn to the wildness of the true north we have cruises to the Arctic along the coast of Labrador and Baffin Island to the remote outposts of Inuit peoples and the fascinating natural history of the High Arctic….
